Behind-the-scenes in the photo studio: unedited shots of the UO women's basketball team. By shooting each player individually, UO Athletic Marketing has a versatile set of images from which a group shot can be compiled if need be, as you can see below in the 2010/2011 Women Ducks Basketball posters.


Leave it to Steve to know how to get awesome shots of F15 fighter planes for background images of the women Ducks' posters and publicity pieces. Unique client needs like this are a fun addition to the people, products and places Steve usually shoots.

If you've ever wanted to be a fly on the wall in Steve's photo studio, check out this cool 2-minute video that the UO Athletic Marketing folks made at the women Ducks' basketball team photo shoot!

Recent University of Oregon graphics projects

Look familiar? Ever watch one of the coaches getting interviewed on TV? Our SoftPrint fabric makes an excellent backdrop in situations requiring a non-glare surface and rich color reproduction.
Easy setup and compact storage makes free-standing pop-up displays like this an excellent choice to make a strong statement in a lobby, on a stage or at a trade show. Kudos to Adams, Hull + MacCluer for designing these compelling graphics.
Stand Up Ducks
There have been a lot of ducks around Imagine lately. First we made a flock of full-size, free-standing, cut-to-shape ducks for UO Marketing and then the real live Oregon mascot showed up to check them out!
All this Duck excitement inspired a line of smaller Stand Up Ducks for retail sale. Maybe this is just the holiday gift for that Duck fan in your life...

Update on this year's Great Giveaway:

Today is the last day to nominate one of your favorite non-profits for this year's Giveaway. There has been a wonderful outpouring of heartfelt nominations this year. Thus far, we have received 94 nominations on our Facebook page and 60 on our blog!
Beginning tomorrow we will set about choosing 13 non-profits from among those nominated, and then, over the coming year, we will donate a total of over $10,000 worth of signs, banners, exhibit graphics, photography and vehicle graphics to help them get their message out and advance their mission!
Take a few minutes to read some of the nominations. It is really inspiring to learn how innovative our high-caliber, beloved non-profits are. Even if you're not usually a Facebook user, take a look at the Imagine Group Facebook page to see the power of social media in action. Nominations made there have attracted comments and interaction and cross-posting. There are a lot of great nominations on our blog also.
Thank you to everyone who participated. Winners will be announced in a couple weeks. Around the time the Duck football team gets their bowl invitation! :) Until then, have a safe and happy December.
